Why doesn't My Records display pop-up windows?
Ceridian recommends that you change your Internet browser settings to enable pop-up windows to display correctly.
To change your browser settings, in the following table, locate the Internet browser you use and follow the instructions.
Note: While you can enable pop-up blockers for all websites, this topic includes instructions for enabling pop-up blockers for the Ceridian My Records Employee Portal only.

Microsoft® Windows® Internet Explorer® version 11 |
Use one of the following methods:
- Open an Internet Explorer browser.
- On the menu bar, click Tools (or
) Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options window, click the Privacy tab.
- Confirm that the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box is selected and click Settings.
- On the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, in the Address of the website to allow field, enter the My Records Employee Portal URL, and click Add.
- Click Close.
- Click OK.
OR
If the pop-up blocker is enabled for the My Records Employee Portal, this message appears at the bottom of the page:
Internet Explorer blocked a pop-up from (the My Records Employee Portal URL appears here).

IE disables the pop-up blocker for the My Records Employee Portal for one time only. When you log out, the pop-up blocker is enabled again. |

IE displays the following options:
- Always allow
IE disables the pop-up blocker for the My Records Employee Portal, and it remains disabled until it is enabled again.
- More settings
IE opens the Pop-up Blocker Settings window.
- On this window, in the Address of the website to allow field, enter the My Records Employee Portal URL, and click Add.
- Click Close.
- Click OK.

Use one of the following methods:
- Open a Firefox browser.
- On the menu bar, click the Firefox menu icon (
) Options ( ).
- In the navigation panel, click Privacy & Security.
- In the Permissions section, confirm that Block pop-up windows is enabled and click Exceptions.
- On the Allowed Sites - Pop-ups window, enter the My Records Employee PortalURL, and click Allow.
- Click Save Changes.
- Close the Firefox browser window.
OR
If the pop-up blocker is enabled for My Records Employee Portal, this message appears at the top of the page:
Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window.
- At the top of the page in the right corner, click the Options button that appears.
- Click Allow pop-ups for (the My Records Employee Portal URL appears here).
When you click the Options button, other available options are:

Google® Chrome® |
Do one of the following:
- Open a Chrome browser.
- On the menu bar, click the Chrome menu icon (
or ) Settings.
- At the bottom of the Settings page, to display the Advanced Settings, click Advanced.
- In the Privacy and security section, click Content settings.
- In the Content settings section, click Pop-ups and redirects.
- In the Allow field, click Add.
- On the Add a site window that appears, enter the My Records Employee Portal URL, and click Add.
- Close the Settings page.
OR
If the pop-up blocker is enabled for the My Records Employee Portal, at the top of the page in the right corner of the address bar, the icon appears.
- Click the
icon.
- On the Pop-ups blocked window, click Always allow pop-ups and redirects from (the My Records Employee Portal URL appears here).
- Click Done.
When you click the icon, other available options are:
- Continue blocking
Select this option to enable the pop-up blocker again for this website.
- Manage
Select this option to open the Settings page. On this page, you can enable or disable the pop-up blocker for the My Records Employee Portal.
